Q:F, Q, T! :)
- F: Favourite Song. Another favourite song is probably Coal to Diamonds by the Gossip
- Q: Question you are asked the most. I get asked if I have any weed on my a lot. There’s just something about me that says “Please, ask me about my illegal business practices and how you can purchase some of my product!”
- T: Time you wake up. Depends on when classes start. Tuesday/Thursday i have to get up at 7:30AM to be in class for 10AM. Most of the time I wake up at 11AM or later.
what the fuck… does your student services have an anonymous complaints thingy or something?
probably, i should enquire
but what i do know is that we have a school wide professor review where we’re all required to submit reviews of our professors which are looked over by the schools admins……………………………………………
my day will come
oh goddd, that is all so fucked up. :||| at least it sounds like she’s not one of those teachers who will mark you down for going against them?
I hope so? Because I’ve kind of been biting my tongue this whole time but today I had just kind of had enough? I mean, I was a c-section birth, so was my brother, and in all likelihood my children will also be c-sections and she was just going off on how people, especially in British Columbia, have “too many” c-sections because it’s covered by BCMed and that people are just electing to have c-sections because they don’t want to deal with the trial of labour and we should be restricting who has access to c-sections because it’s creating a finical burden.
idk about other BC residents, but I much rather pay for someone’s c-section (regardless of it was “necessary” or not) than pay for Harper’s fucking oil pipeline bullshit so yeah, you can spend my tax dollars on the “burden” of reproductive choice and the expression of ownership over one’s body thx.
jesic replied to your post: okay so today my anthropology (of women) teacher…
Do other people in the class think she’s full of shit? How the fuck is anyone taking her seriously.
that’s the thing though!!! everyone is eating it up!!!!!!!!!!!!
i don’t know what to do like, do other people really think like this? that there is a “wrong” and a “right” way to give birth? like okay yeah i’ll admit there are some serious flaws in how the medical profession treats births and pregnant people (i.e. in some circumstances, like cattle) but if i want to elect to have my baby in a hospital with a doctor, that’s my choice. just as much as it’s my choice to have my baby at home with a midwife.
after class she congratulated me on “stirring things up” by suggesting people are individuals capable of and responsible for their own decisions about their bodies and their offspring
